Southern Region Respiratory Services offer up-to-date computerised lung function testing providing comprehensive, accurate results to optimise patient care.

Tests performed include:

Spirometry to detect airflow obstruction or restriction

Diffusing Capacity to detect severity of emphysema and interstitial lung disease

Histamine Challenge Test to detect bronchial hyper-reactivity

Skin Prick Allergy Testing for rye grass, grass mix, house dust, house dust mite, cat, dog, baker’s yeast, brewer’s yeast and aspergillus mix.

Bulk Billing to all patients (excl. insurance cases, overseas visitors, WorkCover,
pre-employment assessment and diving medicals – ineligible under Medicare rules)

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 9-4 (Saturday by arrangement)
