AUDIOLOGIST

David Brownstein

David is an Audiologist with special interest in hearing assessment of adults and children over 5yo and aural rehabilitation services including the fitting of hearing aids.

After studying science at Monash University majoring in physiology and psychology, David completed the Graduate Diploma of Audiology at Melbourne University in 1981.

Since graduating David has gained a breadth of experience working with agencies such as the National Acoustic Laboratories, Australian Hearing Services, hospitals and private practice.

David started his own practice, Essential Hearing, in 1997 and has been providing services in East Bentleigh since then. He is a member of the Audiological Society of Australia and holds a current certificate of clinical proficiency.

David is accredited to provide subsidized services to pensioners and veterans through the office of Hearing Services program. He is also an accredited Workcover provider.
